Sometimes, simplicity done right is all you need. The Fish & Chips here are nothing short of amazing: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Sitting by the dock only elevates the whole experience. They do offer other options, but honestly, going for the classic felt like the perfect choice — and it was absolutely worth it.

I got the “Gordon’s Combo” which contained shrimp, chicken, and cod. The meat was all very fresh and delicious. My favorite part was the sauces, the tartar and curry sauce were the highlight of the whole meal. Also, the service was quick and easy. It was fast food style.

Any skepticism about a GR restaurant disappeared when we got our order. The food is great. The shrimp and fish were fresh and tender and well seasoned. Be prepared to take home leftovers, that box they serve it in holds way more than you’d think. Wife and I split Gordon’s Combo and we were both full before we finished it.

This was delicious fried fish and chips. The Wharf is a nice area and can be expensive. I felt the prices were a good value considering how good our food tasted. I ordered the fish combo which came with 3 pieces of cod and french fries and a drink. My friend got the fish and shrimp combo and we each ordered different sauces. The favorites were the tartar sauce, ketchup and curry mango. The sauces in addition to the perfectly fried cod was what made it worth the price at a steep 20 per combo. I also liked that you could sit inside or out on the patio or just take out and enjoy along the waterside somewhere nearby. I would go back.

By far the best Fish and Chips I’ve had in North America! The cod was crispy, light and well paired with the original dirty chips. The tartar sauce was certainly made on-site with a freshness unparalleled to others offered by restaurants. Finally, the pumpkin spice shake (seasonal to October) was heavenly with the 'just right' proportion of flavours. These offerings made the experience memorable at a casual, British-style chip shop atmosphere. I’ll definitely return with friends in-tow.
